New variations of the ransomware attack are evolving to keep victims paying. This attack has changed from being an attached file in a email to now website Java applets, document (.doc, .docx) attachments to emails and rogue apps from tablets. We have had clients which have been affected from an IPad app against a dropbox account to a word doc attached to an email. So these attacks are evolving to be more sneaky and devious in nature.
